(1) We try to be objective, and there is a record of what we have produced. I think this mitigates tendencies towards bias.
(2) We are often from many different places, and many different stages in life. Yet we never question our ability to work together, very closely, on something that matters to us all.

... and a map of where the parents of current lab members were born: US (Mike, Travis, Tyler), Haiti (Krisna), Senegal (Fortunay), Croatia (Marijan), Turkey (Defne), India (Rakshita, Nimansha), China (Jordan), and Taiwan (Alice).
